There
is no legal requirement to test appliances at any particular time interval.
All employers are required to maintain all equipment so as to avoid danger.
We recommend retest intervals according to environment and type of equipment.
Low risk office equipment would normally be recommended for testing at 3 yearly
intervals.
Most items failing an inspection can be put right in a few minutes. Our engineers carry a wide range of parts and materials, and by prior arrangement with the client, will resolve problems as they arise to avoid down time of equipment.
We work in accordance with the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Test of Electrical Equipment published by
The Institution of Electrical Engineers, ISBN 0 85296 844 2. This is the definitive guide to appliance testing and should be used by all service providers.
